Your Roster Dashboard is where you can view all of your employees, both active and terminated. Here you can add, edit or terminate team members, view their performance, or update important employee information. Click any of the items in the drop-down to see details.

Team Member
- Homebase requires at least a first name to be entered for an employee, though we recommend adding both first and last names to distinguish them from other team members.
- This information can be edited by the account owner and employee.
- The name that is displayed here is the "Preferred" Name, this is the same name that is used across other areas of Homebase like Schedule and Timesheets.

Access
- This displays the team members' access or permission level which may be Employee, Manager, or General Manager.
- Account Owners by default are "Manager" but can be switched to General Manager (Plus plan req.). There is no "Owner" Access. The Account Owner, by default, has unobstructed access to all areas of their Homebase account.
Location
Role
- This displays the team members assigned roles under Access, Roles & Wages. If multiple roles are assigned within a location, each role is displayed on a single line.
- If no role is assigned, there will be the option to "Add" a role, this redirects the user to the Employee Profile.
- There is no limit to how many roles are displayed.
- This column will display which location the Team Member is an active employee of.
Wage
- This displays the team members' assigned wages under Access, Roles & Wages. If multiple wages are assigned within a location, each wage is displayed on a single line next to the role it is assigned to
- If no wage is assigned, there will be the option to Add a wage this redirects the user to the Employee Profile.
- There is no limit to how many wages are displayed.
Account Status
- This column indicates whether a team member is:
- Signed In: This team member has accepted the Invite to join the team on Homebase and has signed in to their account.
- Needs Contact Info: No invite has been sent for the employee to join the team because they are missing a valid email or mobile number.
- Invited: Invite has been sent to the employee to join the team but they have not accepted.
- Pending Acceptance: Invite has been sent to the employee to join the team but they have not accepted. This user already has an existing profile in Homebase on another team. Their profile information can only be edited by them.
- Declined: An invite has been sent to the employee to join the team but they have declined.
- Requesting Invite: The employee has used the self-onboarding option and requested to join the team. The request must be responded to in order to add or remove them from the Roster.
Options
- Clicking the three dots expands a menu that will take the user directly to a section of the employee profile such as Performance, Job Details, Documents, and Personal Information.
- Terminate Team Member: This option does not allow for a Termination Date. In order to select a date of termination, it must be done from the Employee Profile.
Search
- Use the search bar to search for a specific employee by name.
Filters
- Filtering your team will show only the employees with that filter. Use multiple filters for an even more accurate search
- By Access: Employee, Manager, Or General Manager.
- By Location: If your company has multiple locations, use this filter to show a specific location.
- By Role & Department: You can select to filter by a specific role or a general department.
- By Status: Here you will be able to filter by the employee's Account Status. Missing Wage Rates, Missing Contact Info, or Missing Role.
- Show Terminated: Check this box to show your terminated team members on top of your active employees.
Print Roster
- If an owner or manager wants to view a printable list of their employees, they can click the Print Icon in the top right-hand corner. This will display all active employees, their contact info, location, permission level, time clock pin, payroll ID, hire date, wage rate & type, and their role name.
- Please note: This print view is not customizable and cannot be filtered. Only active employees will appear on the print view.
Download Roster
- If the owners want to save a digital copy of their team roster, they can download the file as a CSV. Active and terminated employees will appear on this list if "Show Terminated" is selected. Other filters such as location and access level do not affect how the team roster is downloaded.
- Please note: This download is not customizable, if the user wants to remove certain columns of info, they will need to do that after the file has been downloaded.
