How to Reinstall the Homebase Time Clock App on Clover

The Homebase Time Clock app is a powerful tool for managing employee time and attendance. However, sometimes issues may arise that require uninstalling and reinstalling the app to ensure it functions properly on your Clover POS device. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process, making it easy to troubleshoot and reinstall the Homebase Time Clock app.

 

  1. Prepare your Clover POS device Ensure that your Clover POS device is powered on and connected to the internet.

     

    Please make sure you have the necessary login credentials for your Clover account and the Homebase Time Clock app.

     

  2. Access the Homebase Time Clock app Locate the Homebase Time Clock app on your Clover POS device. It should be available in the app drawer or the "Apps" section. Tap on the app icon to open it.
  3. Sign out of the Homebase Time Clock app Before uninstalling the app, it's helpful  to sign out to avoid any data syncing issues. If you are logged in, tap the user profile icon or "Settings" within the app and select "Sign Out."
  4. Uninstall the Homebase Time Clock app To uninstall the app from your Clover POS device, follow these steps
    • Long-press the Homebase Time Clock app icon.
    • An "X" icon should appear on the app's icon. Tap the "X" to uninstall the app.
    • A confirmation prompt will appear; select "OK" to complete the uninstallation
  5. Reinstall the Homebase Time Clock app Now that you've uninstalled the app, it's time to reinstall it on your Clover POS device. Follow these steps:
    • Go to the Clover App Market (or access it through the web dashboard).
    • Search for "Homebase Time Clock" using the search bar.
    • Locate the Homebase Time Clock app and click on it.
    • Click on the "Install" button to initiate the download and installation process.
  6. Open the Homebase Time Clock app Once the installation is complete, you can open the Homebase Time Clock app from the app drawer or the "Apps" section on your Clover POS device.
  7. Sign in to your Homebase account Enter your Homebase login credentials (email and password) to sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, you can create one within the app.
