Eligibility: The "Homebase Money $1,000 Giveaway" (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Homebase ("Sponsor") and its affiliates, as well as their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Homebase, 835 Howard St, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States.
Entry Period: The Sweepstakes begins on Thursday, October 19 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on Wednesday, October 25 at 11:59 PM ET (the "Entry Period").
How to Enter: To enter the Sweepstakes, eligible participants must follow these steps:
- Download the Homebase mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (if not already installed).
- Open the mobile app and follow the instructions to create an account or log in if you already have an account.
- During the Entry Period, explore the Homebase Money tab to be entered to win.
Entry Limits: Limit one (1) entry per person throughout the Entry Period. Any attempt by an entrant to obtain more than one entry by using multiple email addresses or any other method will void all entries by that entrant.
Prize: One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The winner will receive a cash prize of $1,000 (the "Prize"). The Prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted for any other prize or cash value. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winner Selection: The winner will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted by Sponsor within seven (7) days after the end of the Entry Period. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner Notification: The potential winner will be notified by email within seven (7) days of the drawing. The winner must respond to the notification email within seven (7) days of receiving it, providing their full name, mailing address, and a valid email address for prize verification and delivery. Failure to respond within the specified time period may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.
Publicity: By entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to allow Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional and advertising purposes without further compensation or consent.
General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or violates these Official Rules.
Release and Limitations of Liability: By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or the acceptance and use of the Prize.
Disputes: Any dispute arising out of or related to the Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles, and shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the state of California.
Winners List: To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Homebase, 835 Howard St, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States within thirty (30) days after the end of the Entry Period.
