When you integrate Homebase and Poynt, your sales data will unlock powerful labor cost management features and reports within Homebase, giving you greater insights into your business. Homebase is the only scheduling and time tracking software that integrates with Poynt.
Part 1: Connect Homebase and Poynt
- Sign in to your Poynt Device and tap the Time Clock app.
- Sign in to Homebase.
- Enter your email.
- Explore the Homebase app.
- Enter your PIN.
- Remind your employees that all clock-ins and clock-outs must be done in Homebase to be visible and exportable for payroll.
Part 2: Run reports
Homebase allows owners and managers to view sales data. This data is updated in near real-time and is accessible from either the web dashboard or the Homebase employee scheduling app.
Poynt sales data in Homebase will report as net sales.
If you have multiple stores, Homebase will display that data broken down by each store.
Part 3: Entering employee data
Enter employee info in Poynt. Employee names, phone numbers, and email addresses will sync into Homebase. Employees with emails in their accounts will automatically get an invitation to join Homebase. Homebase will not import inactive employees. You can edit employee info in Homebase by visiting the Team page.
Homebase will randomly generate PINs for your employees, and Poynt will automatically send you an email with these PINs for your records.
