We integrate with Revel to offer merchants an all-in-one work scheduling and photo-capture time clock software.

 Only the owner of the Homebase account has access to the POS Connection.

Part 1: Connect Homebase and Revel

  1. Create a Homebase account if you don’t already have one.
    • During setup we will prompt you to choose your POS provider. You will be prompted to enter your business’ name as it appears in Revel and your credentials.
  2. If you already have a Homebase account, sign in and click Settings in the top navigation bar.
    • Select POS Connection from the navigation bar on the left.
    • Click Connect next to Revel and follow the prompts to connect your account.
    • Click Save.
  3. Remind your employees that all clock-ins and outs must be completed on the Homebase application to be visible and exportable for payroll.

 

Part 2: Run reports

Homebase allows owners, managers, and employees to view their sales data, with certain restrictions. This data is updated in near real-time and is accessible from either the web dashboard or the Homebase mobile app.

Revel sales data in Homebase will report as net sales. Order discounts are not reflected in the sales numbers Homebase displays.

If you have multiple stores, Homebase will display that data individually.

 

Part 3: Entering employee and location data

New employees should be entered into Revel. Employee names, phone numbers, and email addresses will be transferred into Homebase. Employees with emails will automatically get an invitation to join Homebase. You can edit employee information in Homebase from the Team page. Homebase will not import inactive employees.

Revel allows for up to 10 digit PINs. If the PIN length of the location is longer than 6 digits Homebase will not import the PIN but, instead, generate a random one.

You must connect each Homebase Location to Revel individually.

  1. Sign in to your Homebase account.
  2. Select the Settings tab in the top navigation bar.
  3. Select POS Connection from the navigation bar on the left.
  4. Select Connect to Revel for each Location.
