Homebase integrates with Square Payroll for quick and seamless time-tracking and payroll services.
Info that syncs:
- We automatically pull payroll IDs when you Import your Team.
- Select Team. Select Import. Select Import from POS.
- Hours Employee time cards are exported directly from HomeBase to Square in real-time when an employee clocks in and out on Homebase.
Connecting to Square Payroll
- Sign in to your Homebase account.
- Select Settings in the top navigation bar.
- Select Payroll in the left navigation.
- Click Connect next to Square.
- For multi-location customers, you will be prompted to select the Square location that you would like to sync with your Homebase account for payroll.
- All employees registered within your Square account will be imported to your Homebase Team page.
Running Payroll
When ready to run payroll, there is no need to “Export” timecards from Homebase. Timecards (including adjustments) are automatically sent to Square Timesheets in real-time through the integration. Simply navigate to your Square Dashboard and click “Import Timecards” to ensure the sync is up-to-date.

A: Yes! All timecards, adjustments, and deletions are automatically transferred from Homebase to Square Timesheets in real-time. Time cards ONLY sync from the date of the integration and after employees have been imported. Homebase is unable to export timesheets retroactively to Square Payroll.
Q: Are timecard adjustments or deletions made from Square Timesheets transferred automatically back to Homebase Timesheets?
A: No, all timecard adjustments or deletions are not transferred automatically to Homebase Timesheets.
