The Florida Department of Revenue administers the state’s reemployment tax. The agency’s website is: https://floridarevenue.com/taxes/taxesfees/Pages/reemployment.aspx.

Apply for Florida Reemployment Tax Number

• Online. An employer can register online by completing Florida Business Tax Application.
• In-Person/Mail. An employer can also register by completing paper Form DR-1, Florida Business Tax Application, which then can be submitted in-person at a Florida Revenue Service Center or by mail.

Note: Florida does not impose a state income tax.
